Contracting entity: the seller named on your invoice. Where an order is placed with a different MOTORS EU entity, that entity is named on the invoice and in the order confirmation.
Eligibility
Bidding requires a signed-in account. Where a lot states verified-customer eligibility, additional checks apply before a bid is accepted.
Bids
Bids are processed on the server. A bid must meet the reserve increment and is treated as binding once accepted. Browser clocks are not authoritative: the stored closing time decides outcomes.
Reserves
Where a reserve price applies, bids below it are recorded but do not meet the reserve. A lot closes without a sale if the reserve is not met.
Extensions
Where a lot enables an extension window, a bid placed within the final minutes extends the closing time by the disclosed period. This is the only extension mechanism used and it is stated on the lot before bidding opens.
Winners and payment
A closing lot with a winning bid issues an invoice to the winning account, payable within the period on the invoice. Logistics, duties and taxes are quoted separately.
